On Thursday, April 29th the PE classes ran the mile. During seventh and eighth hour the sixth graders had some "guest runners"! Mr. Windsor, Mrs. Mixon, Ms. Coppoletta and Mrs. Mesker all ran the mile with the kids! Way to go everyone!!!!!

PE Classes Run the Mile!

Ride Janie Ride Fundraiser
The Lakeview Student body has undertaken a fundraising goal. The students are collecting money to benefit the Ride Janie Ride organization.( http://www.ridejanieride.org/) This organization selects three people per year who are suffering from blood cancer and help to cover expenses insurance will not. Unfortunately this year, two of Center Cass District 66 family members will benefit from this organization. One of the recipients is a young lady at Prairieview School and the other the brother-in-law of a teacher at Lakeview. Students will collect money and for each $5.00 raised the student will receive a "motorcyle" to add to their grade level gang. Goals for homebases have been set. Money will be collected April 12 - April 23, 2010.
