End of Second Trimester
Although the weather makes it feel like spring will never come the calendar is telling us otherwise! This Friday is the last day of the Second Trimester already! I don’t know about you, but I can’t believe we are about to embark on the last third of our school year! When students return to school on Tuesday they will begin the Third Trimester. This means that Encore classes will switch on Tuesday. Does you child know where he/ she is to go for third trimester Encore classes? If not, they can always check their schedules on Parent Connect. Report Cards will be coming home with all students on March 11th so keep your eyes on the lookout!

IOWA Make-Up Tests
Tomorrow, Tuesday, will be IOWA Make-Up Day at Lakeview! Students who missed testing last week will be pulled from classes tomorrow to make-up the tests they missed. If your student missed testing last week please try and have them at school tomorrow. I know that the illnesses are running rampant, so we will do our best to get this testing done. Remember, students should be well rested and have a good breakfast prior to testing.

Pack the Place Success!
This week Lakeview hosted two Pack the Place events. It was a huge success! Over 200 students attended each day and it was enormously successful! The Choir sang the National Anthem, the Pep Band played throughout the game and the Leadership Team did a great job of entertaining the student body prior to the start of the games! I was very impressed with the outstanding behavior of the fans during both games. The school spirit was high and it was a great time! Hopefully, this will become a long standing Lakeview tradition.
