Lunch and Books with Mrs. Liles

Starting in January, I will be hosting lunchtime book clubs with students. Students in sixth grade are invited to participate in this exciting new adventure! The books we will discuss will be from the list of Rebecca Caudill Nominees for the 2009-2010 School Year.

Students may sign up with their Reading / Language Arts teacher to participate. Only students who have read the particular book being discussed may participate in the event.

Start reading now! I have already read Kimchi & Calamari. Next on my list are: Emma-Jean Lazarus Fell Out of a Tree and A Small White Scar.

The first lunch time book club will be held on Tuesday, January 19th. Sign up sheets are availabe in Mrs. Crews' and Ms. Coppoletta's rooms.
