The Lakeview Spartans Varsity Volleyball team concluded their well played regular season (7-2, 2nd place in the SDEAA Conference), by capturing the SDEAA Tournament Championship on Saturday, October 30, 2010. In the first match, Lakeview defeated Cass in 3 games by the scores of 25-16, 23-25 and 15-10. The Spartans then moved onto the championship match where they were victorious over Westview Middle School in 3 games by the scores of 25-19, 15-25 and 15-13. The Spartans are coached by Beth Nyhlen.
