Good Luck to the Lakeview Band and Choir Students

This is a busy weekend for Lakeview Musicians! The Marching Band students have a double performance in two parades! They will be joining the DGS Homecoming Parade today, Friday, and then tomorrow, Saturday, they will be traveling to Plainfield for their Homecomng Parade. I am sure they will do fantastic both days and hopefully the rain will hold off and cooperate!!!!

Also on Saturday, there is a group of band students and choir students who will be auditioning at the Illinois Music Educators Association District 1. More than 1500 band, choir and orchestra students from the surrounding suburbs will participate in these auditions for a chance to be selected into one of the honor groups. If selected, they will perform in November with some of the finest middle school musicians in our area. They will also have the opportunity to work with some of the finest guest conductors in the field of music education.

Good Luck to the following students auditioning for IMEA:

Emily P - Flute

Brooke N - Flute

Sam T - Tuba & Bass Guitar

Danny P - Baritone

Ahona M - Clarinet

Charlotte S - Clarinet

Marjorie B - Soprano

Shnnon S - Soprano

Kyla S - Soprano

Megan V - Soprano

Tyler Z - Tenor

Marian C- Alto

Good luck to everyone!!!!
